Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener: now offers Lunch Courses ‘The Wolfgang Experience’ and ‘Taste of New York’



Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is known to offer one of the best premium steak in the country. Having been in the industry for 14 long years, they truly made its way to be known and recognize as one of the best restaurant around the globe.

Located inside The Podium, the sophisticated ambiance is perfect for intimate dining experience. Cozy white sofa, wooden tables and chairs with elegant table setting.

They now offer lunch courses from Mondays through Fridays at 11am to 4pm. You may choose from ‘The Wolfgang Experience‘ or ‘Taste of New York’. With the former, you get to choose an appetizer, salad or soup, entree of steak or fish of the day plus a dessert. While Taste of New York is already planned and curated for you. I ordered The Wolfgang Experience and here’s what I had:

Appetizer:

Seafood Taster (tuna tartar•lobster salad•jumbo shrimp cocktail) – Fresh Tuna was cut in cubes and had some sauce drizzled on it. I thought it was soft and really tasty. Fresh as it gets, it does not have any fishy taste to it. The lobster salad was heavenly. It was perfectly cooked. Shrimp was juicy too. Altogether they’re just perfect appetizer.

Salad:

Caesar Salad with Sizzling Canadian Bacon – fresh greens with some cheese. Bacon was a delight with this salad too.

Entree:

USDA Prime Dry-Aged Rib Eye Steak (600g) – was a bit surprised with its size. It was so big that I think 2 people can finish this. The marbled steak was well seasoned. It smelled so good and most specially it tasted sooo great. I had it Medium Rare and for me, it was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, moist and ridiculously delicious.

Sides:

Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach – These two are perfect match with the steak. I love the smooth mashed potatoes and I think the spinach needed something to be creamier.

Dessert:

New York Style Cheesecake – Probably one of the best there is. It was decadent. I liked that it’s not too sweet. The strawberry on the side added a fruity flavor to it.

Overall experience was amazing. For Php3,788, you’ll get to have all of these plus an amazing staff to assist you. It’s almost a perfect dining experience.

We also got to try other dishes:

Beverly Hills Chopped Salad – this had peas, avocado, bell pepper, carrots, corn and romaine lettuce topped with cottage cheese.

Fish of the day – The skin was so crisp yet the meat was soft.

Classic Wolfgang Burger – one of the best burgers I’ve tried. Tender, thick and flavorsome steak in between a bun. Classic!

They have rice meals as well and this steak topped with sunny side up eggs. Perfect meal for us!

And here’s the Sirloin Steak.

What a best way to end the meal with some Reserva.

Oh! They also offer functions for 65,000 consumable that’s already good for 25 people.
