Wee Nam Kee recently launched its newest set of dishes that will surely delight its customers who wanted more of Singaporean food.
This branch in Ayala Triangle Makati exudes Asian flair matching the food that they offer.
Its brick wall and photo frames added a vintage touch but the tables and chairs look modern along with its chandeliers.
Salt and Pepper Shrimp – Cooked perfectly. You can easily strip off its skin from the meat. The salt and peppery taste complimented the shrimp really well.
Family Platter (Hainanese Chicken, Soy Chicken, Roasted Pork, Lechon Kawali, Seaweed and Century Egg)
That’s six flavors in one plate. You may want to consider ordering this platter as this is perfectly curated to give you a taste of Asian food. The Soy and Hainanese Chicken were so good. It was tender and its flavors were all the way through while the Century Egg would be one of my favorites food.
Pineapple Fried Rice with Chinese Chorizo – Just look at that rice loaded with meat and vegetables. It tasted just a bit sweet but not overwhelming.
Claypot Chicken Noodles – Good when you’re in a hurry and wanted a comfort food. The tender Chicken tasted a bit sweet.
US Flat Iron Steak in Sweet Soy Sauce – Another sweet sauce but it did match the succulent steak. Definitely a winner!
Wee Nam Kee Milk Tea – At first it was served bland. There’s was no sweetness in it just from the boba. Then, the waiter approached me and said that they forgot to put some sugar. I wasn’t expecting they’d change my drink but they did. And when it was served the second time, it was perfect. Creamy, just the right sweetness plus the boba was soft yet has a bite in it.
Visit Wee Nam Kee today to try these delectable dishes. I can’t wait to be back and have another round.
Special thanks to Diane of @Fried and Prejudice for extending the invite. 🙂
