I’ve long been wanting to visit Sakura Hanami for its chic, cozy, and of course, delectable Milk Teas. One of my dream is to come and visit Japan but with the current situation, it’s not going to happen anytime soon. But I do not worry much, I know I’ll be able to travel when everything’s all good, and by that, I’m still glad I’ve travelled to Maginhawa to visit this cute “cherry blossoms viewing” inspired mil ktea and cafe.
Of course, what better way to enjoy tea time but with your fellow Tita. So, I strongly suggest to bring one or two with you, they still practice social distancing, so, just be mindful of the minimum persons allowed inside.
It is indeed Instagrammable starting with the wall flowers, small vintage chairs, and pink cushions, everything just look pretty pink.
This place maybe small, but every detail is on point.
We tried 4 milk teas during our visit.
We started with the Traditional Cherry Blossom Tea (Php195) – this hot tea has cherry flower that blooms in hot water. It’s not only pretty, it taste good, too. Make sure to add some honey for additional sweetness.
And then we had:
Cookie Butter Milk Tea (Php250) – That gingerly flavor and caramel scent will get you hooked. If you’re into speculoos cookie, then this would delight you.
Lava Pearl Latte (Php180) – This is officially added to my list of favorite drinks. No wonder this is one of their best sellers. I love the smoothness of the milktea and that coffee flavor, too. Their boba was chewy yet soft which I love. Definitely worth all the calories.
Peach Paradise Fruit Tea (Php195) – If you’re into refreshing drinks, this will not disappoint. That’s fresh peach fruit with some green tee and chia seeds. Another winner for all of us.
