Easily located in the super busy street of Poblacion, Makati. The place is beside A-venue so you do not have an excuse not to see it. The staff were accommodating but they kind of had a bit of commotion during our stay. Probably because of a banquet reservation which made them busy. The ambiance is very cozy. Our are was well lit as we’re near the window. Perfect for food photography.
For the food, my personal favorite would be:
Masala Papad – It’s like a very thin version of their tortilla chips topped with finely chopped fresh tomato, onions and chili powder.
Murg Makhani – This Butter Chicken is delightful. Just the color of it makes it looks tasty. It’s so full of flavor because of the yogurt and Masala Powder.
Paneer Curry – Fresh cheese made by the Chef himself. It was soft and it taste really good. The texture is like Tofu but the taste is cheese.
Chicken Malai Tikka – Chicken was grilled perfectly. Taste so good with all that Indian spices of course. This was served with shredded cabbage on the side.
Samosa – Perfect for those whose trying to stay fit as this comes with vegetables inside that pouch brown dough.
Butter Naan – A favorite. The buttery smells tasted amazing. Perfectly paired with Paneer. But I could eat this alone with their signature Tamarind Sauce.
Hyderabadi Biryani – As per Chef, this long grain rice should be paired with Cucumber Raita.
Gulab Jamon – Milk balls in a sweet sauce. Yum!
Mango Lassi – Mango and Yogurt. This wins my heart all the way.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for those who love Indian food as it really is authentic. Well, I could attest to that as the Chef himself is Indian for sure. He made sure we know how to pronounce the dishes served. I could say I made some difficulty with most of the names but this goes differently with their taste. I enjoyed all the food served.
