Red Jade is no neophyte when it comes to serving authentic Chinese Food. Formerly Mabuhay Palace, this restaurant has been around for quite some time offering premium Chinese dishes.
This restaurant has recently been upgraded to cater to not only it’s Filipino and Chinese customers, but everyone in general.
There’s already a wow-factor when entering its premises. As you walk in, the red and golden yellow hue makes everything pleasant to the eyes. They say that red and yellow are the chief in food color, well it sure stimulated my taste-buds and appetite.
Its elegant couches, wall art, and table set-up are so on-point that you’d feel that you’re in for a gastronomic feast.
Right now, they have an ongoing promo of Dimsum-All-You-Can for only Php988. Let me tell you that the dimsum that they offer are plump, mouthful and tasty! These already are value for money.
Steamed Crystal Shrimp Dumpling
Siomai
Chinese Vinegar Dumpling
Century Egg Seaweed
Stir-Fried Soya Sauce Egg Noodles
Vegetable Spring Roll
Ham Sui Kok – I really enjoyed these dumpling and its play with flavors in every bite. The outer layer was soft and sweet while the filling was salty.
Pan-fried Radish Cake X.O. Sauce
Roasted Pork BBQ – It has the right amount of sweetness and the pork was real succulent.
For the main course, you can only choose one from these three:
Crispy Fried Pork Ribs – the flavor is strong but does not overwhelm. It’s not spicy at all so you can still enjoy its flavor to the fullest.
Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet – it has a balanced flavor of sweetness and sourness and the fish was cooked nicely.
Sliced Chicken Szechuan Chili Sauce – chicken was tender and the spicy kick was just right.
Yang Chow Fried Rice
Deep-Fried Chocolate Buchi – These balls of glutenous rice has dark chocolate inside. It was really decadent and I just really fell in love in one bite.
These dishes are currently not included in the promo. But I strongly suggest that you order separately. This would be my favorite dish and am already looking forward to coming back for this.
Life Long Prawn – deep fried prawn wrapped with misua noodles. It was really good. The crispiness of the noodles and the tender texture of the prawn were really a great pair.
Piggy Face Lava Buns (Custard with Salted Egg)
what a spread!
Overall, I think this promo is a bang for buck. Imagine the quality and quantity of food, the lavish ambiance and the wonderful service, it will surely be one lunch that you’ll remember and that’s exactly what I felt.
