Ramen Kuroda has been around for 5 years here in the country and now has 19 stores and counting. This store in BF Homes, Parañaque started it all.
I just love Ramen Kuroda. There’s something about its Ramen that I liked. Its thin textured noodles, the broth, its meat, not to mention it’s price. For only Php180, you get a decent Ramen already that’s authentic Japanese. That’s why I frequent this place and I’m lucky since there’s one at RCBC Plaza where my office is locate.
Visiting this store in BF Homes, I got to see where it all started. It’s indeed just a humble store with great location. It has wide area for parking, well-lit with some Japanese accents to make your dining experience more authentic.
Shiro Ramen – This is their basic ramen. You can see the broth really white and creamy.
Kuro Ramen – It has a strong garlic flavor that’s actually good. I’ve never thought I’d like its flavor when I tried this. The roasted garlic is bold and complemented the broth really well.
Aka Ramen – This is my favorite flavor. It has just a mild spicy in it. It is salty and would be much more delicious is you add in more meat.
Bari Kara – Now this one’s pure spicy ramen. I was able to enjoy its taste the first few sip, but then I needed a glass of water afterwards to wash out all that spiciness. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted good but it was too spicy for me.
Now, they’re introducing new flavor of Ramen. It’s Curry Ramen which has some cheese, shredded beef and some vegetables. It has thick noodles making it mouthful and filling.
