Puzzles is a café/restaurant with fun board games to make your dining experience interactive. This was not my first time as I already tried other restaurants with the same theme. But with Puzzles, I like that it’s cozier and chill than the others I’ve tried.
You can play any board games and if by chance you needed someone to explain the mechanics, you may call their Game Master who willingly can assist you on how to play.
For the food, here’s what we tried:
Puzzles Nachos (Php380) – It has lots of toppings such as Jalapeno, seasoned Ground Beef, Cilantro, and Fresh Salsa. I love that it has sour cream and Garlic sauce on top.
Chips & Dip (Php170) – So thin Potato chips that it’s so addicting to eat. Dip it in barbecue sauce and aioli for extra flavor.
Bacon and Egg Flatbread (Php280) – This is with Garlic oil. There’s chopped bacon, mozzarella, white sauce and sunny side up egg. The dough was a bit chewy though but it was still a delight to eat.
Bacon Fries (Php190) – These fries have some triple cheese sauce and crisp bacon bits garnished with parsley. This is as tasty as it looks.
All Meat Burger (Php360) – 100% pure beef, secret sauce, slices of Hungarian sausage, bacon strips, egg with some cheddar cheese on brioche buns. Love everything in here. The patty was juicy and the bacon was sinfully good.
Classic Chicken Fingers (Php290) – Strips of chicken breast with in batter. It was too crispy. The honey mustard and barbecue sauce sure is perfect dip for this dish.
Spicy Chicken Sandwich (Php290) – Do not be taken aback as this wasn’t too spicy. I liked that the spiciness did not take out the flavor of the chicken fillet on brioche buns. This comes with potato chips as well.
Fried Chicken and Cheese Pasta (Php290) – The pasta was firm and sauce was really creamy. The Chicken on top was full of flavors, too.
Sausage Mushroom Pasta (Php240) – The pasta was firm and the Hungarian sausage tasted good too. It has some arugula, rosemary oil, Parmesan cheese along with some crostini on the side.
Mushroom Rice, Bacon and Egg (Php340) – This would be the dish that I’m going to have again when I come back. That’s thick slab of bacon fried perfectly with a poached egg served with fried rice. Dip it in honey for that sweet and savory flavor.
Milo Godzilla (Php200) – When there’s Milo, I always say that it’s Nostalgic as I am not so much into this drink anymore and I remember me sipping this hot drink before going to school. This was what I felt when I had this drink. A little over sweet for me.
With this, I could say that it was always fun having to play board games while enjoying good food with good company as well.
Thanks PiggingOutOnSundays for this amazing invite 🙂
