Nanyang: Now opens in SM Megamall

There’s no need to visit Singapore to have a taste of the authentic Kaya Toast, Prawn Laksa, or the Hainanese Chicken.  The good news is that they now have a branch in SM City Megamall which made it closer to where my husband lives.

This new branch opened just last April. This spacious store is a perfect spot for you to enjoy your cup of coffee or tea with its relaxing ambiance. Whether if you’re with your family or friends, or even spending time alone. you will surely have a great time here at Nanyang.

Nanyang  is one of my go-to-places when I wanted to have a cup of the Kopi Jelly Milk Tea. It is my default order every time. Not only that, the traditional Kopi and Teh which is a perfect combo with the toast.

We were able to witness how they prepare the tea by doing a “Teh Tarik“, a process of pulling the tea made from a strong brew of black tea blended with condensed milk.

Kopi Jelly Milk Tea (Php130) – Its balanced flavor of sweet and bitter taste is what makes this one of my favorite beverages.  Make sure to have some coffee jelly when you sip to add that strong coffee taste.

Kaya Butter (Php70) – This traditional Singaporean toast is best when dip in a soft boiled egg with some soy sauce.  But this time, I tried just this and it was really comforting.

Peanut Butter Toast (Php60) – This thick toast with some peanut butter spread on top is really delicious.

Kaya Toast

Prawn Laksa (Php268) – The thick soup along with the fish balls and prawn was really good! The noodles were cooked al dente, too. I find the spiciness level of it a bit mild so I was able to fully enjoy its flavor to the last drop.
