Mazu Seaside Diner is a new restaurant located in Seascape Village. Among all the other restaurant there that offers Paluto, they have their own dishes that will not cost you extra charge. Also, they have other viands that’s non seafood. So if you’re into Beef, Chicken or Pork, they have Chinese dishes that’s perfect for you.
The name of the restaurant came from the Goddess of the sea, and their intent is to offer fresh seafood to everyone. They mostly have Chinese and Filipino food.
This red Chinese looking door will lead you to the restaurant. I was amazed by how huge the place is. It can be a venue if you intend to have an occasion as they have private rooms available as well.
As I said, they not only offers Seafood, we were served different kinds of non-seafood dishes. This is to let the people know the variety of food that they have.
French Beans with Salted Egg (Php620) – This crispy string of beans were deep fried and then tossed in a Salted Egg. I did not thought that I would enjoy munching on these as much as I did.
Sweet and Sour Pork (Php600 for a large plate) – The tender pork were coated in a sweet and sour sauce. I mean, that glazing sauce was well balanced, not too sweet and not too sour.
Buttered Chicken (Php550) – This might look easy to cook, but the flavor is hard to imitate. It was buttery but no overwhelming.
Spicy Tenderloin with Tofu and Sprouts (Php960 for a large bowl) – It has sour taste in it that compliments well with the Beef. The Tofu were soft and vegetables were cooked perfectly.
Salt and Pepper Shrimp (Php650 for a medium plate) – Definitely one of my favorite here. The Shrimp was cooked the right way and the salt and pepper tasted evident, too.
Adobong Pusit (Php1,100) – This tasted more on the sour side. The sauce was thick and creamy. I might say that this would be one of my favorite here, I just find the price a bit high for the serving size.
Chocolate Cake (Php120) – The cake was moist however, I felt that it had too much Baking Soda.
You might want to take advantage of their ongoing promotion for this month of July. For a minimum spend of Php3,000, get the medium serving of Salt & Pepper Shrimps for only Php21 (originally 650pesos).
