Limapulo is offering the finest of Peranakan Cuisine, serving high quality food and beverages to consumers of all ages and races. The term “Peranakan” originally means “local born in Malay“. The Peranakan people are descendants of Chinese immigrants who came to the Malay Archipelago back in the 15th century.  The Peranakan men came to be known as Baba, while the women are addressed as Nyonya.  Traditionally, only the nyonya cooks but Limapulo’s founder and executive chef is a Baba, hence #babacancook.

PongTeh Pork (Php199) Tasted just like our regular pork adobo but without the vinegar.  It’s a bit sweet because of its sugar.  For the price, that includes your coffee or teh tarik.

Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken (Php249) – Love the thick and creamy consistency of its sauce.  The chicken was tender, too.  So affordable for the price as it includes coffee or teh tarik of your choice.

Crispy Pork (Php269) – The skin was really crispy while the meat was succulent.  Definitely a favorite here, too.

Nyonya Laksa (Php199) –  The first thing that goes to my mind when I sip on its sauce was “OMG!” Now, I know why this was awarded number 1 Laksa.  It was rich, flavorful, creamy, a bit spicy, and addicting! I could finish this one bowl in a snap.

Baba Teh Tarik (Php89) – This milky tea can bump any other milk tea there is.  It does not have that boba that I’m addidted to, but this doesn’t need that. It’s one good tea that satisfied my craving already.

IMG_7567

Nyonya Coffee (Php89) – They have one strong coffee.  It was strong yet not too acidic  which I liked.

IMG_7573

3 Layer Teh (Php109) – With the weather like ours, Iced Tea is my comfort drink and this is comforting, indeed.

3 Layer Coffee (Php109) – One strong, cold coffee that’s enough to get you going through the day.

If you’re looking for the best Laksa, Limapulo will not disappoint.  I can’t wait to be back here for another bowl or two! Oh! Their Coffee and Tea Tarik, too!
