Jazz Up In The Sky might be another restaurant in Malate. It is located on the Roofdeck of Heroes Hotel in Malate Manila which makes it somewhat special. Why special you ask? Well, for me, there’s always something about roof-decks that I personally like. The cold wind brushing to my skin, I also like gazing at the stars while I have a beer in hand while catching up with friends. To me, it just feels like you’re in a comfort of your own home and this place has that chill vibe.

The area is a bit small about 20 to 30 seats but there’s al fresco area. They also serve coffee and tea as well. I ordered the Matcha Green Tea. It tasted good as it was not too sweet and the Matcha isn’t overpowering.
Caesar Salad (Php200) – Iceberg lettuce with homemade Caesar dressing. There’s grilled chicken strips, bacon bits, herb croutons and Parmesan cheese on top. This salad is great for the healthy ones.
Pumpkin Soup (Php125) – It was thick and creamy. This is really a great way to start a meal. It already was heavy so you can cut down on your calorie intake.
Buffalo Wings (Php230) – Crispy fried coated hot chicken wings with blue cheese. This comes with French Fries as well. It was tender, flavorful and a bit spicy but tolerable. I can finish this in one sitting.
Clubhouse (Php180) – this comes with a fries as well. The bread was filled with cucumber, tomatoes and some sauce.
Carbonara (Php250) – Al dente pasta, tossed with special carbonara sauce. Comes with Garlic bread. It was tasty, however, it would be much better if the sauce was creamier.
Roast Beef (Php225) – Fork tender beef. The sauce was savory, too. This includes Java Rice.
Surf and Turf (Php890) – This also comes with Java Rice. There’s Calamari and Shrimp poppers, Grilled Pork and Steak. There’s vegetables on the side as well. Perfect for 3-4 persons.
If you’re in the area, you might want to try Jazz Up in the Sky. Prices are reasonable and they have friendly staff as well.
