Ibarra’s Bistro is a restaurant venture by the Ibarra’s Group popular for its catering and party venues. They offer Filipino food that is perfect for big groups. Its location in Acienda Designer Outlet in Silang is a perfect spot as some shoppers will surely be needing a comfort food to eat before or after shopping.
They have bundles available as great selection for groups as its well curated already. They also have ala carte dishes for you to enjoy. Here are some of the dishes that we tried:
Pot Roast Beef (Php310) – slow cooked braising in red wine served with steamed rice and buttered vegetables.
The meat was tender and the sauce was creamy though not overwhelming. I liked the pepper and mushroom taste in it,too. The red wine was noticeable.
Chicken Salpicao (Php210) – boneless chicken breast in olive oil., garlic oil, bell peppers, mushroom and spices. Served with garlic rice and tomato.
Mixed Seafood Salpicao (Php260) – mixed of squid, shrimp, and fish fillet, sauteed in garlic, olive oils, bell peppers an spices served with garlic rice and tomato.
I enjoyed their Salpicaos’ and the different take on seafood and chicken. Though both were on the salty side, it’s aroma and flavor are well paired with rice.
Chicken Teriyaki (Php270) – hand-trimmed and grilled marinated chicken served with steamed rice and in-house-blend teriyaki sauce
Pork Belly BBQ (Php310) – slow cooked marinated pork belly, grilled to perfection. Glazed in hickory BBQ sauce. Served with garlic rice and picked vegetables.
Pork BBQ on Stick with Kare-Kare Rice (Php215) – two pieces of skewered pork slices marinated in sweet BBQ sauce. Served with Kare-Kare rice and sinamak vinegar.
The pork were well marinated. It was grilled perfectly and the Kare Kare Rice were perfect combo. No wonder, its one of the best sellers here.
Beef Short Ribs Ala Pobre (Php340) – tender and succulent beef ribs topped with toasted garlic served with steamed rice and buttered vegetables
Paella Valenciana – Loaded with Seafood indeed. This one is really flavorful and delicious.
Crispy Pata Bawang (Php700) – Pig’s leg simmered in water with Ibarra’s secret spices. Made more crispy when dipped fried in garlic oil served with soy vinegar.
I love this Crispy Pata. It was crispy indeed, yet tender on the inside. Dip it with their mixed soy vinegar sauce.
Beef Kare-Kare (Php480) – beef stew meat cooked with a thick savoury peanut sauce added with mixed native vegetables best with Ibarra’s shrimp paste.
I find the Kare Kare less peanut-y which is what I’m looking fir in this dish. I just wish it could have been more creamier and peanut-y, but I love that the beef were really tender.
Strawberry Mango Smoothie (Php 140) – sweet and refreshing drink that’s well suited to our tropical weather. One of the best Smoothie I’ve had.
We ended a meal with the delectable Blueberry Cheesecake (Php160). It was perfect! Not too sweet, not too creamy.
Make sure to pay them a visit as they have an ongoing Family Bundle for as low as Php1,800. That’s already good for 5 persons.
