Go! Salads: continuously serving healthy food

Go! Salads recently opened a new branch in Double Dragon in Pasay. It’s currently their 20th branch to date. We were able to sample amazing selections of Salads, Smoothies, Paninis and Brookies as well.

Here’s what we tried:

Sweet Caroline – sundried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, candied walnuts, greens that comes with honey balsamic vinaigrette. Due to its sweetness, this one is so easy to eat. This is great for people who wants fruits on their salads as well.  I like the walnuts here as it adds a texture and crispiness in it.

Bayani Salad – a mix of corned kernels, candied cashews, chicken adobo flakes, greens that comes with soy sesame dressing. This one’s savory which I like. Very local flavor as well. The Chicken Adobo Flakes tasted so flavorful and it smelled really good.

SGT Steak – chunks of steak with chimichurri sauce. This is what I prefer in my salad, some meat.  The chunks of steak was just a bit dry, in my opinion but add the Chimichuri sauce and it ain’t that bad.

Freshmen’s Salad – Tuna Flakes, Sliced Cucumbers, Greens and Wasabi Mayo.  I love the combination of Tuna and Wasabi Mayo. There’s no fishy taste at all.

Peachy Traveller – Sliced Peaches, California Raisins, Roasted Almonds, Greens and Lemon Basil Vinaigrette. Also, another sweet salad. Peach was fresh and raisins added that sweet-and-sour taste.

Chicken Kebab Panini – The Kebab was well-seasoned. I just find it a bit dry. Add some hummus for additional flavor.

Guzzler – this smoothie, sure can make you do your daily routine in a snap and can perk you up. Packed with greens, nuts and peanut butter.

Grab some smoothies too. There’s Rock Smoothie which has Bananas, Cacao Nibs and Almonds.

Price ranges here are Php 130 to Php 200. It surely is healthy and affordable.
