Frank and Dean is a newly opened coffee shop in BGC where you can get your daily dose of caffeine- freshly brewed. They aim to add joy to the community by offering amazing coffee one cup at a time.
They have friendly baristas to assist and they welcome coffee enthusiasts for internship willing to learn how to make good coffee.
With direct sunlight, during the day, this well-lit coffee shop has a vibe that can cater for people on the go, where you can get your fresh cup of coffee in a snap – they have take-away food as well to pair your coffee.
Yet, this place is also for people who wants to slow down and enjoy coffee in a cozy, minimalist, and homey vibe it emanates. They have wifi, too and power outlets if you intend to get your work done.
They have 100% Arabica coffee beans with its ‘Hey! Neighbour!’ signature blend which consists of 50% Brazil, 40% Bukidnon and 10% Ethiopian.
I ordered the Salted Cream Latte and it was really good. I sipped onto its cream and loved that it wasn’t too sweet. It has balanced saltiness and sweetness plus the bitterness of the coffee were all on point.
Cold Drip Coffee (Ph140) – You can have it straight up but be careful as it has a strong flavor. What I did was I had it in 2 cups and added more fresh milk since I’m a acidic and can’t take too strong coffee.
Sweet American Dream (Php180)
Iced Mocha (Php200)
Salted Cream Latte (Php200)
There are Rice Bowls and Pasta selection to pair with your coffee. It’s good that they have al dente pasta and creamy sauce to it. I find everything delicious. The Rice Bowls were a bit steep for the price, though, but its good that its hefty.
Pesto Chicken Pasta (Php250) – Spaghetti Pasta, Pesto Sauce, Cut Up Chicken breast
Chef’s Carbonara (Php250) – Spaghetti Pasta, Bechamel, Bacon bits, Parmesan
Chicken Jambalaya (Php250) – Jambalaya Rice, Cut up Chicken Breast, Romaine Lettuce, FxD Pesto Cream Sauce
Bacon Breakfast Bowl (Php250) – Fried Rice, 2 Scrambled Egg, Bacon Chunks
Nutella Puff
Banana Bread
With its strong and bold coffee, there’s no doubt that Frank and Dean will soon be known in town, one who has love for coffee and its community.
