Alabang West Parade is the newest rendezvous for people who love to eat, shop or chill. It’s still developing and there are few stalls that you may enjoy. What’s great is that, you can find Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill that will satisfy your craving for some Tex-Mex dishes.
Tagged as the “Best Nachos in town,” I was curious about it as I love this Mexican dish a lot whether having it as it is or have it with some drinks. I was excited to try it along with some dishes, too.
The ambiance is a bit small, which can probably fit 50 or so people but there’s an al fresco. Even with limited seats, the place exudes all Mexican vibe. The staff even accentuated with their uniform of being cowboys and cowgirls.
For the food, we tried the following:
Fiery Nachos (Php388) – Choices of Corn chips or Potato chips, topped with nacho cheese, guacamole, tomato salsa, refried beans, black olives, jalapenos and sour cream, and choices of grilled jalapeno lime chicken, Mexican chili beef, BBQ pulled pork or BBQ Beef brisket.
Here, we had the Corn Chips with Mexican Chili Beef. That generous ground flavored beef along with the salsa and cheese and everything in it was really one of the best Nachos I’ve had. Just make sure to consume immediately so the chips would maintain the crispiness.
Terrific Tacos (Php228 and Php278)
Corn Filled with shredded lettuce, refried beans, Mexican cheese, salsa, sour cream and filling of Mexican Chili Beef.
Cheesy Quesadilla (Php398 and Php428)
Cheesy and crispy stuffed Mexican cheese, ranchero sauce, shredded lettuce. Served with Guacamole, Sour Cream, and Salsa.
We had the Beef Brisket and Grilled Jalapeno lime chicken as filling and it was really delicious. Well flavored and juicy meat. Also, cheese were generously added, too. I love Quesadilla a lot and this would definitely make me return here for more.
Lord of the Wings (Php1198) – 24 flavored wings – Hot Hot Hot Sauce and Jalapenos, Nacho Cheese Sauce and Bacon, Texan-Style BBQ
Chicken were cooked to golden brown giving it a crispy texture. Each has enigmatic flavors but what stood the most to me was the Texan-Style BBQ. It has the right saltiness and flavors were balanced making you want to eat on and on.
Baja Supremo (Php988 for 3 persons)
loaded seafood platter. spicy butter-garlic shrimp, fried creamdory fingers, grilled salmon loin and crispy salted egg calamari
Galleon of Bones (Php928 for 3 persons)
BBQ Pork Ribs, chicken wings and meaty pork hammers, Beef Ribs served with Southwest chips with rice, coleslaw ad Texan style BBQ sauce.
Rib Eye Steak (Php1558) It was served in a sizzling plate so it was served well done. The flavor of salt, cracked black pepper and its southwest spices were really tasty! It was so good we finished it in no time.
For dessert, make sure to order these
Chili Chocolate Fudge (Php278) – Rich chocolate fudge cake, served chocolate or vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce
Southwest Churros (Php238) – A classic recipe served with vanilla or chocolate ice cream
For drinks, we sure enjoyed the cocktail as it was mixed really well. The alcohol content is not evident but there sure is a kick after finishing a glass.
Mango Southwest Margarita (Php178) – Fresh mangoes mixed with lemon and lime with tequila blended. Served with sugar on rim
Pina Colada (Php198) – Malibu blended with Funkin Pina Colada mix for a tropical taste
House Minty Mojito (Php158) – Refreshing flavors of fresh lime and mint leaves mixed with white rum.
