City Garden Hotel Makati – Group staycation in the heart of Makati CBD

Poblacion, Makati is known for its lively and hip vibe.  Most of the people flock here specially during the night as it has so many popular spots to party, shop, dine, and to relax as well.  One thing you can do here is to book a room to make sure that you’d enjoy this place to the fullest.

That’s what we did.  We booked a room in City Garden Hotel Makati and totally enjoyed the stay with its amenities.  With its affordable rates, it is surely one of the most bookable hotels in the area.

The check-in process was smooth.  The staff asked for a valid ID upon check-in for security purposes.  Please take note that they will ask for a Security Deposit of 1,000 pesos but fully-refundable upon check-out.

Our room was located on the 25th floor.  Since we’re in a group, we booked an Executive Deluxe Room with 1 Double and 1 Single Bed.

The bed looked totally relaxing already with its duvet smelling so good.  Surely, the first thing you’d do it to lie down and relax for a few minutes.

They also provided us with a welcome cake.  This decadent Chocolate Cake was superb!

The room has a bath tub along with complete toiletries.

I also love the sofa area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and some me time just over-looking the whole Makati CBD.

After relaxing for a few minutes, we made sure to enjoy one of the hotel’s amenities, and that’s the pool located at the Penthouse. With the weather like this, one can’t help but skinny dip and enjoy the water.  But what we enjoyed the most was the Jacuzzi.  After that swim, we had some dinner over at the Encima Roofdeck Restaurant which offers Tex-Mex cuisine.  This is just beside the pool area so it’s not a hassle getting there on your swimsuit. 😀
You can check-out my review of Encima here.

The next morning, it’s definitely one of my favorites as part of the booking includes a Breakfast Buffet.  We enjoyed a variety of Filipino and Continental choices from Cereal, to Bread, Sausages, Pancakes, Bacon, and more.   But what I enjoyed the most was the Filipino selection.  I am a sucker for any dried fish so I sank my teeth to Danggit, Tuyo, even the Lucban Longganisa, too.  You can ask them to cook your eggs the way you want it done.

Our stay was definitely one for the books.  We really had so much fun as we get to enjoy the company of one another with a few laughs and funny stories.
