As a working mom, I make it a point to have a staycation at least once in a month or at least once every quarter. Don’t get me wrong as we do love our home but being in a hotel (or renting an AirBnB) and feeling pampered and well taken care of is what we long for, especially if you’re a parent. We need to be de-stressed every once in a while, right?
We recently had a chance to checked-in at Bayview Park Hotel and what I love about his place is its location- at the very heart of the Metro. There’s the nearest malls, museum even theme park, perfect spot to be in when you have kids with you.
The check-in process was smooth and we were able to go inside the room within minutes.
The hallway looks neat and minimalist. When we got inside the room, the kids immediately jumped over the bed but I was able to still catch a photo of the bed.
We got the Deluxe Room with 2 double beds. That’s 30 square meters in size. I just wish that there’s a comforter instead of the usual blankets.
The room has a nice smell, like that of a fabric conditioner. It is a good thing as this hotel is non-smoking.
There’s two complimentary water.
Toiletries such as shower cap, shampoo, bath gel and lotion.
I love and I make sure that we get the room with a bathtub. If you wanted this as well, make sure to coordinate with the Front Desk as some rooms don’t have one.
Here are additional information of the services you can get from the hotel:
- Airport and City Transfers
- Car Rental
- Foreign Currency Exchange
- Travel and Tours Assistance Desk
- Laundry and dry cleaning service
- Wake-up call
- On-call doctor
- Safety deposit box
- Baby cot
Valet parking is also available.
Breakfast:
Our reservation includes complimentary breakfast for two which is available from 6am – 10am at the lower ground lobby of the hotel.
They have few items on the menu as breakfast but enough to make you full already. I just wished there was some bacon available as this would make it all complete for me. Haha!
Make your own Salad, Banana Cupcakes, Fruits in Season.
Freshly brewed coffee and juices.
Different type of breads and spreads.
pancakes
Chicken Tocino and Scrambled Egg. The Tocino tasted too sweet for me but I liked that it was tender.
Corned Beef and Hotdogs. The corned beef was too watery, though.
It was still a good breakfast for us. Our Atreu ate free as she is within 3 feet tall.
