Sip and Gogh: paint, cheese, wine and all that jazz
I remember painting when I was a kid. I painted a rose which I can’t really recall if it looked like a rose. 😀 But I remember, I somehow know how to use a brush as my father was an artist.
When my manager planned an activity at Sip and Gogh, I was excited and worried at the same time. I never finished a single painting in my life.
The house rules are just simple. This activity is meant for you to enjoy. As the instructor said, just laugh and have fun.- Yeah! Laugh at your ignorance. 😀
The tools: 3 types of brushes, an apron to protect your clothes from the stain and a glass of water to wash the used brushes.
There’s a lot of paintings to choose from. You get to choose which one to imitate or you can simply create your own.
They also serve a cheese platter with choices of drinks from Beer, Wine, Juice or Soda.
And here’s my finish product. 😀
I’m so proud that I was able to finish a painting. Finally!
Can’t wait to hang this up to my room and show my baby. 🙂
The good thing about this is that you don’t have to be a painter to finish your art. They will assist you and make sure your strokes are correctly applied on the canvass. It was such an amazing experience being able to create a masterpiece. 🙂
I really had fun at Sip and Gogh and I’m sure you will too. 🙂
