Watami – new dishes available!

Watami – new dishes available!

Watami is my go-to restaurant when I’m craving for some sushi. They offer affordable and a variety of Sushi, Maki and Aburi.  I also like their Yakitori and Udon. This would be my third time dining in Watami and I am as excited as they have new dishes that just come out. This one located in Uptown Mall in BGC, is spacious enough as there’s alfresco area, too. It’s placed along with The Bistro Groups’ other restaurants such as Denny’s, Texas RoadHouse, Buffalo Wild Wings and more. I must say that the place was really gorgeous. With all the Japanese

J. Cuppacakes – an afternoon delight

I am fond of baking but not the hard core type as I can only count in my fingers what I can really bake. Example would be the super easy Japanese Cheesecake as I saw it on Facebook and because it only has 3 ingredients.  😀  Next would be brownies, cupcakes and other cakes I can’t really remember as it was during my high-school days. So, I totally forgot about baking, pretty much. 🙁 So, I was really excited when I received an invitation from J. Cuppacakes.  They promised to provide an afternoon delight and to teach us how to

Fat Daddy’s Smokehouse – fall-of-the-bone ribs and more…

Fat Daddy’s Smokehouse is a second branch located in UP Town Center.  It has a modern industrial design with loads of yellow lights that makes the place look warm and homey.  This restaurant started as a small concept restaurant.  Their family definitely loves to eat and they wanted to share what they’ve had in the US. The siblings found the love for food and travel.  They wanted to take the American style of barbecue in Manila and that’s how it all began.  They opened their first branch in Marikina at their very own  backyard and now, they have a new

Teppanya – my favorite Japanese restaurant in the South

I really had a wonderful dining experience at Teppanya.  Not only that the food were all spectacular but because of the customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant itself.  They do have an entertainment as well where in they will cook the food in front of you.  We were lucky that one of the head Chef was there to cook for us. Chef Cris has been in the industry for more than 20 years. He cooked the food right in front of our eyes with all that performances and side jokes which made us all very entertained. Definitely one of

There’s a new bar in the South called Havana Club La Bodeguita Del Medio. It’s a Cuban inspired restaurant/bar which features Cuban dishes and drinks that you will surely enjoy.  They’re relatively new and only 5 months old to date but with what they offer, it seemed like they’ve been around for some time.   With it’s location,  you will be surprised with it’s posh ambiance.  Black couches, metal stools, wood walls, Cuban-inspired paraphernalia, pretty chandeliers.       This is definitely a nice place to have great food and drinks. Vanderlust -A story in every bite

I’m so amazed by the way Vanderlust was born.  This is a passion project out of intense desire for adventure, zeal for food, curiosity of the unknown, and love between a husband and a wife Mark Anthony and Valerie Spencer. The idea began in 2013 during their honeymoon in Europe. They spent a month going from one European city to another.  They brought their favorite dishes here in the country so others may experience them. Mark Anthony along with celebrity Chef Mitchie Sison worked so hard for the recipe.  They wanted it to be as close as possible with what they had

We recently visited All Home in Las Pinas and one of the restaurants inside is All American Trading Co.  They specializes in American dishes such as huge pizza slices, buffalo chicken and more. I am so impressed by the look of the place as it has a lot of space.  It’s almost half the entire 2nd floor of the building.  I am also digging the wooden tables and chairs along with the light bulbs that hanging on the ceiling.  It added not just lights but a feel of warmth because of yellow hue.   All American currently has a Pizza-rrific Bundles promotion.

He said that Pizza originated in Greece and that Italian Napoli picked it up and they were able to sell more of it. You can play any board games and if by chance you needed someone to explain the mechanics, you may call their Game Master who willingly can assist you on how to play. This is my first time to try Lorenzo’s Way.  I was impressed with the coziness of the place. Colors of Orange, Brown and White dominated the room.  The wooden walls and furniture made it look more vintage yet modern. They serve mostly Spanish and Filipino cuisines.

Zomato10 – sharing is the best way to celebate

I’ve been doing restaurant reviews with Zomato for almost 4 years now.  As you know, I love to take photos of food and other stuff, too as much as I love to eat.  With that, I frequently check Zomato’s website to check restaurant reviews and prices.  I could say that I relied on it as the reviews were from real people who shared their experiences.  All the information on a restaurant would be available there.  So, with having no more space on my phone one day, that’s when I started to write a review to give room on my phone.
