Mesa: the home of modern Filipino cuisine opens its 60th store
Mesa continues to bring the modern reinvention of Filipino dishes that we’ve grown to love. Currently on their 60th store, Mesa opens its branch in yet another food rendezvous place in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Crispchon served 2 ways (Php5,700) – Crispy, tender lechon. The chopped meat were then placed in a Pandan wrap along with some leeks, cucumber and cilantro. And then the other is with toasted Chili Garlic.
River Shrimp Suahe on the Rocks (Php310) – fresh catch indeed. These suahe is cooked in a hot rocks.
Tinapa Roll Wrapped in Lettuce (Php175) – Great appetizer. The tinapa wasn’t that strong in taste.
Shrimp Tofu Salad (Php295) – My favorite. The cold soft jelly like tofu topped with shrimp. Definitely a winner!
Mesa would still be a place where I would visit from time to time when craving for their modernized dishes.
