Kam’s Roast – introducing the new item perfect this Holiday Season, the “Pipa Duck”

Kam’s Roast just released their new menu which is perfect this Holiday Season.  This new dish is called Pipa Duck which actually looked and shape similar to the Chinese musical instrument named “Pei-pa” hence the name. Executive Chef Wong Kwan Sang and Mr. Eric Dee, presenting the Pipa Duck. The Pipa Duck was initially butterfly-cut, roasted and then bathe with oil to have that crispy skin on the outside yet soft and tender inside. I can’t believe how well they did it.  There was no sauce brushed in it but it tasted fully flavored.  The skin was really crispy to think that

Noor Modern Mediterranean Cuisine – introduces new twist to Euro-Israeli food

Noor Modern Mediterranean Cuisine – introduces new twist to Euro-Israeli food

Noor is the newest Mediterranean restaurant in BGC that offers a taste of Tel Aviv.  They aim to introduce a unique and modern twist to the typical Mediterranean restaurant focusing on Euro-Israeli flavors.  In Arabic, Noor simply means ‘light‘ which was somewhat derived from the name of Chef Or.  Or to me, simply having a light disposition in life.  At least that’s what I felt when I dined couple of weeks ago. This place has a relaxing atmosphere and definitely stays homey.  This is how they promise to have a dining experience, light and comfy.  It is very evident that

The Red Piano – open mic while tasting different cuisines

Music and Food, have always been a perfect combination to me.  I used to frequent restaurants and bars with live bands as I enjoy watching musicians play their instruments and I love to have good food, too.  Imagine having a great meal and listening to good music, for sure this would be your best bet, too! The Red Piano Restolounge was formed by a group of college friends from DLSU who wanted to have a place where they could hang out and enjoy excellent fine dining food. With its casual settings, it sure is a place where people can share

Sariwon -Korean Barbecue that offers premium meat

Sariwon Korean Barbecue is a popular restaurant in Korea that serves traditional Bulgogi.  Currently, there’s two branches here in Manila.  One here in BGC and the other in Greenhills, Promenade.  They may not be the usual Korean BBQ that we know that offers unlimited meat but I tell you, that they do have premium meat and delicious side dishes.  We were able to try their Deluxe Grill Set for 4 during our visit. But first, let me tell you how I love the ambiance of Sariwon here in BGC.   Having hues of orange and white,  it sure looks neat and indeed

Jazz Up In The Sky – Roofdeck bar at Heroes Hotel

Jazz Up In The Sky might be another restaurant in Malate.  It is located on the Roofdeck of Heroes Hotel in Malate Manila which makes it somewhat special.  Why special you ask? Well, for me, there’s always something about roof-decks that I personally like.  The cold wind brushing to my skin, I also like gazing at the stars while I have a beer in hand while catching up with friends.  To me, it just feels like you’re in a comfort of your own home and this place has that chill vibe. The area is a bit small about 20 to
