Food waste is never okay! WWF-Philippines conducts the Savour Planet 2019: No Place for Waste in Tagaytay City

It was such an eye opener when we last attended the Savour Planet: No Place for Waste. The Sustainable Diner: A Key Ingredient for Sustainable Tourism at View Park Hotel Tagaytay.  In this event, we were educated on how we can help by making sure to order only what we can consume, learn to decompose, and we also learned more about Rise Against Hunger. Did you know that every year- approximately 1.3 billion tons – gets lost or wasted? That’s according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. Food loss and waste amount to a major squandering of resources,

Another Italian restaurant favorite would be Bistro Ravioli.  They make their fresh pasta and dough that it absorbed all the flavors they put in. Their tagged line “Fresh Pasta. Brick Oven Pizza.” They serve delicious food that will not break your bank. Dillinger’s 1903

Dillinger’s 1903 is a rustic wine and dine restaurant located at the 3rd level of Greenbelt, Makati.  We decided to have lunch here one time and I had a bit of a regret that we went during this time or probably had dinner instead? The place looks surely posh, I thought this place would have looked much better at night. Couches looked a bit old and rusty on this side. All American Cheeseburger Php345 – 7 oz USDA beef patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles on whole wheat bun served with french fries. I would have loved this burger if it

Recovery Food is a 24/7 restaurant that serves comfort food.  With its name, the food that you can have here is what’s usual to us and what we normally crave for when needed. This branch here in Molito is a bit small.  I appreciate the open kitchen though.  It makes you secure of your food. Samgyupsalamat – my favorite branch is here in Tagaytay

Probably my favorite Samgyupsalamat is here in Tagaytay as this branch gives you access to the Zoo.  Perfect to go here with the kids.  Just make sure you have a lot of energy as the walkway going there is a bit steep. Ok, so I am not sure if the entrance will really give you access to the Zoo as the last time we were there, we were able to come in.  Anyway, we went here around 1PM, expect that it’s going to be crowded, same with any other branches.  But, we’re able to get in in less than an hour.

Kyoto Chaya – a taste of undiscovered Japan

Kyoto Chaya or Teahouse in Japan offers healthy meals that is unfamiliar to our palate.   They  wanted to share the taste of undiscovered Japan and serve food not known in the Philippines.  Kyoto is a place in Japan that has rich cultures and is known for Green Tea. I love that this restaurant practices ClayGo.  Just like in Japan, they wanted people here to follow the same rules and is their ultimate motto.  I am pretty sure that we can do this as well. Just need a little practice. Its decor is simply, chic yet classy.   The interior is well lit
